V Rising

This is a role-playing game in which players assume the role of a vampire hunting for blood after centuries of slumber. From a 3/4-overhead perspective, players explore various environments (e.g., forests, villages, caves), interact with characters, and battle enemies (e.g., humans, animals, giant spiders, skeletons). Players use swords, axes, arrows, and magic/elemental attacks (e.g., fiery bursts, icy blasts) to deplete enemies' life meters. Combat is highlighted by blood-splatter effects and cries of pain. Players can also attack and drain blood from civilian characters and weakened enemies.
