GTFO is rated M for Mature 17+ by the ESRB with Blood and Gore, Strong Language, and Violence. Also includes Users Interact. This is a first-person shooter in which players assume the role of a prisoner trying to escape a futuristic underground complex. Players traverse levels, avoid detection, and battle mutants and alien creatures in frenetic combat. Players use machine guns, automated turrets, and melee weapons (e.g., hammers) to kill enemies. Large blood-splatter effects occur as creatures are killed and/or decapitated. Blood splatter effects can also stain walls, floors, and the players' visor; some areas depict decapitated corpses on the ground. The word “f**k” is heard in the game.
