Reigns

This is a text-based strategy game in which players assume the role of a medieval monarch making choices for his kingdom. As players attempt to maintain balance, their choices can lead to acts of violence: an enemy killing a character in a duel; peasants taking over the kingdom; a general killing a character. Other still-images depict small blood stains; one image depicts the cartoony monarch's head on a pike. Some suggestive material appears in text: "...[He] has been seen in the Queen's bed"; “A village in the south is encouraging polygamy"; “A duke decides to reestablish the feudal right allowing a Lord to bed a woman on her wedding night.” The game contains a handful of references to ale, wine, and drunk characters. The words “a*s” and “bastard” appear in the game.
