Rating Summary
This is a first-person adventure game in which players assume the role of a graffiti artist (Ghost) aiming to gain success in a place called Sludge. Players traverse an open-world environment, interact with characters, vandalize billboards, and complete various tasks in the city. As players progress through the game, their character can consume mushrooms (i.e., “zooms” in Sludge) that create screen-distortion effects, causing them to fly around the city; several characters are also depicted with dazed eyes from the effects of drugs. The game contains numerous drug references in the dialogue (e.g., “I could totally smoke RN, bong style...”; "Speaking of stash, my...nephews, may or may not, grow zooms up in them apartments"; "I'm like so high right now…"; "...[Y]ou heard about those cool guys growing zooms in this building..."). Several instances of crude humor also appear in the game: the ability to take photos of feces in toilets; a dedicated flatulence button with sound effects; references in text/dialogue (e.g., "Urinate from the top of Glug Tower"; "I'm quite eager to recreate this double butthole phenomenon in human trials"; "You see the size of that deuce in the bathroom downstairs?").
