Rating Summary
Evergate is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Fantasy Violence and Use of Drugs. This is a puzzle-platformer in which players guide a child-like soul (Ki) on her journey through the Afterlife. Players navigate through levels, employ powers and abilities (e.g., teleporting, platform creation), and avoid nightmare creatures (e.g., shadow ravens) that attack players, causing them to disappear into bursts of light. Players use blast shards to attack enemies that cry out in pain when defeated. Reaching level exits causes players to unlock hidden memories, some of which depict the consumption of drugs (e.g., small white pellets). One memory depicts a character who has overdosed on drugs.
