Rating Summary
This is a role-playing game in which players control a group of enforcers called Rangers. Players work to find supplies, end civil war, and bring order to the Patriarch of a post-apocalyptic Colorado. From a top-down perspective, players interact with various characters and engage in turn-based battles with enemy factions. Characters use guns, explosives, and melee weapons (e.g., hammers, clubs) to kill enemies. Battles are highlighted by explosions, cries of pain, and large blood-splatter effects. Some cutscenes depict more intense instances of violence: a character's head exploding at close range, with blood splattering the camera; a head falling off a corpse after its body gets jostled; several corpses hanging from nooses; a body dropping from a high platform, resulting in large blood-splatter effects. During the course of the game, players' character can visit a brothel and pay prostitutes for their services. Although no sex acts are depicted, sexual moaning/grunting sounds occur after transactions with prostitutes are made. One male character (fully clothed) is shown performing a masturbatory gesture, while stating “Can't stop…touching myself.” The game contains a handful of drug references (e.g., a drug called Rocky Mountain Moosegrass depicting a joint; tables with white powder; a cannabis leaf icon); players can obtain and use a variety of drug-like enhancements, which result in prolonged screen-blurring/distortion effects. The words “f**k” and “c*nt” appear in the dialogue.
