Rating Summary
This is an adventure game in which players follow the story of a teenager (Sean) and his younger brother (Daniel) as they run from police on their way across the border into Mexico. As players progress through the narrative, they make dialogue and action choices (e.g., attack people, escape or surrender to police) that influence the outcome/progression of the story. Some choices can lead to instances of violence: a man shot by a police officer; a man punching and kicking a teenager; young characters getting shot (usually off-screen); police offers attacked and flung through the air. Blood sometimes appears on wounded or dead characters and animals. The dialogue/text contains some brief instances of sexuality (e.g., “My chances of scoring tonight are probably…ten times yours”; “I hear u gonna tap Murphy's a*s”; “You wouldn't be so uptight if you got laid…”). Condoms also appear in a handful of scenes. The game includes references to and depictions of drugs: marijuana referenced in dialogue (e.g., “[She] provides the weed tonight. I better be ready”; “Can't wait to see you baked as hell…”); depictions of “weed pipes” and a pouch of marijuana. One prolonged sequence depicts teenagers smoking cigarettes on a porch. The words “f**k” and “sh*t” are heard in the game.
