Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove

Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB with Mild Fantasy Violence and Use of Alcohol. This is an adventure game in which players assume the roles of the Shovel Knight and assorted characters on quests to stop evil forces. As players run and jump through side-scrolling levels, they use a shovel to swat or hop on fantastical enemies (e.g., giant insects, skeletons). Enemies disappear amid puffs of smoke and scattered jewels when defeated. Some game modes allow players to engage in one-on-one/multiplayer battle challenges, involving more protracted combat. A handful of characters are depicted with frothy mugs of beer.
