Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~ is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Blood, Mild Language, Mild Violence, and Suggestive Themes. This is an interactive story game (i.e., visual novel) in which players follow the story of a girl searching for clues about her mysterious condition. Still-frame cutscenes sometimes depict characters getting slashed, stabbed, or shot; blood is sometimes depicted on characters' faces or clothing. One scene depicts a man being impaled by a blade; blood is seen on his mouth and around the wound. The game contains some suggestive material: several scenes of a couple kissing; a scene in which a man pins a woman down on a bed; dialogue such as “Those Peeping Toms!” “I wonder what he meant by 'naughty games'”; a character lying down with the top of his buttocks partially exposed. The words “b*tch” and “bastard” appear in dialogue.
