Rating Summary
This is an adventure game in which players assume the role of a paranormal detective (Paul Prospero) searching for a missing child. Players explore the open-world environment of Red Creek Valley in search of clues and crime scenes to examine. Crime scenes can depict burned and/or mutilated corpses as well as large amounts of blood. Some clues or objects can trigger memories/flashback sequences depicting violent murders/deaths: a man beaten to death with a tire iron; a man stabbed in the neck with scissors; a character set on fire. One sequence depicts a man run over by a train, severing his legs; players may encounter a legless corpse as well as other stray limbs while exploring. The words “f**k,” “sh*t,” and “f*ggot” appear in the dialogue.
