AeternoBlade II is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Violence. This is an action role-playing game in which players control warriors on a quest to save their world from extinction. As players traverse side-scrolling platform environments, they use swords, blade whips, and axes to battle fantastical creatures (e.g., living armor, possessed knights, sorcerers) in melee-style combat. Battles are accompanied by sword-slashing effects and cries of pain. Cutscenes also contain instances of violence: human characters impaled by swords; a demonic dog struck dead.
