Risk of Rain

This is a side-scrolling action platformer in which players assume the role of a crash survivor battling monsters on an alien planet. As players progress through levels, they use a variety of weapons (e.g., hammers, swords, blasters) to defeat alien creatures in frenetic battles. Action is highlighted by explosions, impact sounds, and screen-shaking effects. A handful of enemies explode into small, red particles when defeated. One line of text briefly references being drunk. The words “damn” and “hell” also appear in text.
