Risk of Rain 2

Risk of Rain 2 is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Blood, Drug Reference, and Fantasy Violence. Also includes Users Interact. This is an action game in which players must battle aliens after crash landing on a strange planet. From a third-person perspective, players use arrows, guns/blasters, and other ranged weapons to deplete the health meters of alien enemies (e.g., rock monsters, crab-like creatures, upright lizards). While using ranged weapons, players aim crosshairs at targets, which explode when defeated. Action is highlighted by blasts of energy, impact sounds, and explosions. A few enemies emit brief splashes of red blood when hit. A power-up item is described in text as containing “methadone…a variety of opiates, benzodiazepines, barbiturates…amphetamines.”
