Das Boot VR Demise is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Mild Language and Mild Violence. This is a VR adventure game in which players assume the role of a U-boat sailor controlling various aspects of a submarine. From a first-person perspective, players can adjust levers, valves, and steering wheels while searching for an allied freighter to destroy. During the course of the game, the sub is hit and damaged by depth charges; players must then work to control leaks and fires. Failure to complete certain puzzles will cause the U-boat to flood and sink, resulting in brief images of corpses floating in the ocean. The word "bastard" and the German word “scheisse” appear in the dialogue.
