This War of Mine: Complete Edition

This War of Mine: Complete Edition is rated M for Mature 17+ by the ESRB with Blood, Mild Sexual Themes, Strong Language, Use of Alcohol and Tobacco, and Violence. This is a survival strategy game, depicted in a platformer view, in which players help civilians survive a civil war in a fictional Eastern-European city. From a side-scrolling perspective, the game allows players to explore buildings, scavenge for supplies, craft items, and attack/repel looters. Players use hatchets, machine guns, and shotguns to kill enemy survivors and steal their supplies. Realistic gunfire and blood-splatter effects occur as characters are shot and killed. The game contains a location called Brothel, with text description: “If you want to get laid for a can of meat, this is the place.” Crafting items include moonshine, which players' character can use to barter for goods, give to survivors to elevate depressed moods, or consume themselves—text reads “Nothing better to brighten up the mood.” Players' character can also craft cigarettes to keep spirits up, or to use them as bartering items. The words “f**k,” “sh*t,” and “a*shole” appear in the game.
