Rating Summary
This is an adventure game in which players assume the role of Sean, a teenage boy on the run with his younger brother. As players explore environments on their way to Mexico, they can make dialogue and action choices that influence the outcome/progression of the story (e.g., whether to steal, lie, cause physical harm). Some cutscenes depict acts of violence: a man shot by a police officer; teenagers punching each other; a child struck by a car; a restrained teenager kicked by a man; humans and animals flung to their deaths. Blood sometimes appears on wounded or dead characters and animals. The dialogue/text contains some brief instances of sexuality (e.g., “My chances of scoring tonight are probably…ten times yours“; “I hear u gonna tap Murphy's a*s”; “You wouldn't be so uptight if you got laid…”) Condoms are also depicted in a handful of scenes. During the course of the game, teenagers can be seen smoking cigarettes; one cutscene allows players' character to smoke. The game includes references to and depictions of drugs: marijuana referenced in dialogue (e.g., “[She] provides the weed tonight. I better be ready”; “Can't wait to see you baked as hell…”); depictions of “weed pipes” and a marijuana greenhouse. The words “f**k,” “sh*t,” and “a*shole” appear in the dialogue.
