Trüberbrook

This is a point-and-click adventure game in which players assume the role of a scientist exploring a parallel universe in cold-war Germany. As players explore and collect useful items/clues, they can interact with characters and trigger violent sequences: a character strangled by a robotic arm; a woman holding characters at gunpoint, then shooting a computer. During one sequence, players find a "massage rod" which can be traded for a fishing rod; the female hotel owner is shown to be excited to receive the flesh-colored device (e.g., “Oh….uhm…thanks! For me?”). The game contains some alcohol use and references: players' character ordering and drinking beer; the trading of "suff tobacco"; the player's character waking up disoriented after drinking (e.g., “Whoah…that is some mean spirit! Alcohol? Never again!”). The game also depicts a character smoking.
