RPG Maker MV is rated E10+ for Everyone 10+ by the ESRB with Fantasy Violence, Suggestive Themes, and Use of Alcohol and Tobacco. Also includes Users Interact and In-Game Purchases. This is a creation/world-building game in which players build and play through a role-playing game. Players can populate their world with items, characters, branching storylines, and engage in battles. Players use weapons and magic spells to battle fantastical creatures (e.g., dragons, skeletons, demons) in turn-based combat; combat is accompanied by impact sounds, explosions, and light effects. During the course of the game, some female characters wear revealing outfits (e.g., short skirts, deep cleavage). The dialogue contains references to ale and whisky, and some story-branching options lead characters to consume alcohol and pass out. One character is depicted smoking a cigar.
