Rating Summary
This is an adventure-platformer in which players assume the role of a woman (Penny Driftwood) that solves problems after temporarily assuming the role of Death. From a side-scrolling perspective, players collect ghostly critters, solve mysteries, and interact with both the living and dead. Among other tasks, players must solve a murder mystery; cartoony corpses, body parts, and impaled skulls are comically depicted. A handful of scenes show characters getting shot, usually with unrealistic/over-sized pistols; another sequence allows players to set a person on fire. The game contains some instances of suggestive dialogue and innuendo: a biker saying to a female character, “Baby, I'd like to give you a 'wheely' good time on my [bike]”; characters discussing the name Horneo; a man saying to a woman, "We got a big ol' biological urge to procreate!" During the course of the game, players can control a seagull that releases droppings onto objects, food, and characters below. In one prolonged sequence, a rabbit character appears drunk, with burping and slurred speech (e.g., "Let me finish this drink..." and "Now I know I've drunk too much."). A male character briefly discusses drugs during one scene: “This is a trip, man...that stuff I took worked. Just on an extremely delayed timescale!”
