Cuphead

This is an action game in which players assume the role of animated cups (Cuphead and Mugman) as they repay their debt to the devil. Players traverse through side-scrolling levels, shoot magic attacks from their fingers, and engage in several boss battles against robots, humans, and giant animals/creatures (e.g., birds, frogs, mice, rabbits). Graphics are depicted in a stylized, 1930s/'40s-animated-style; combat is frenetic with frequent cries of pain and explosions. Several enemy characters are depicted smoking cigars, cigarettes, or pipes; a handful of characters appear as personified alcoholic beverages (e.g., a swaying martini glass, a red-nosed highball). The word “hell” appears in the game.
