Yomawari: Midnight Shadows

Yomawari: Midnight Shadows is rated M for Mature 17+ by the ESRB with Blood and Gore, and Violence. This is an adventure game in which players assume the role of two young heroines as they search for one another in a haunted town. From a 3/4-overhead perspective, players explore the town while avoiding and hiding from monsters and spirits intent on killing them. Along the way, the game depicts dark thematic elements: a young girl hanging herself on a rope; bodies falling and splattering to the ground. Large pools of blood are frequently depicted around the town, and ghostly creatures can be seen dripping with blood. A handful of sequences depict severed hands amid large blood stains.
