Kirby Battle Royale

This is an action game in which players assume the role of Kirby as he competes in a battle tournament in a king's castle. From an overhead perspective, players engage in various mini-games (e.g., Battle Arena, Robo Bonkers, Slam Hockey) to accumulate league points and advance in rank. Players use an assortment of “cartoony” weapons (e.g., giant mallets, bombs, swords) to knock out opponents and defeat larger boss characters. Battles are frenetic and highlighted by cries of pain, smacking and slashing sounds, and screen-shaking effects. In a handful of games, players can fire missiles from cannons and shoot fireballs from armored vehicles.
