The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+

This is a 2D action-adventure game in which players help a child, Isaac, escape from being violently harmed by his mother. From a top-down perspective, players traverse a basement dungeon filled with trapped children and fantastical enemies. Players solve various puzzles and battle the “cartoony” enemies by using weapons such as tear-drop projectiles. Some attacks are accompanied by blood-splatter effects, dismemberment, and decapitation; several dungeon rooms are littered with entrails and large blood pools. During the course of the game, rooms are depicted with excrement and urine; certain items allow players to defecate, urinate, or transform into excrement-themed characters (i.e., depicted as coiled droppings).
