STORY OF SEASONS: Trio of Towns is rated E10+ for Everyone 10+ by the ESRB with Comic Mischief, Suggestive Themes, and Use of Alcohol. This is a role-playing/simulation game in which players assume the role of a young character who moves to a farm after leaving his family. Presented from a third-person perspective, with anime and cartoon-style visuals, the game allows players to grow crops, produce goods, and interact with various townsfolk. Storylines sometimes contain suggestive material: a man flirting with a woman after exclaiming “hot babe spotted”; a character peeking over the wall of a bathhouse to watch female bathers (no depiction of bathers); dialogue that describes characters as "perverts," “a secret love child,” and "peeping toms." A handful of comical scenes show characters lunging toward each other with spears before the screen fades out. During the course of the game, players' character can make wine from various fruits; bottles can be given as gifts or consumed by the player without any effect.
