Rating Summary
Halo Wars: Definitive Edition is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Mild Blood, Mild Language, and Violence. This is a real-time strategy game in which players command human military forces in battles against an invading alien race. From a 3/4-overhead perspective, players collect and manage resources to mobilize/upgrade military units (e.g., UNSC Marines, armored vehicles) across large-scale battlefields. Realistic gunfire, large explosions, and cries of pain are frequently heard during combat. Cutscenes sometimes depict impalement of human soldiers; one sequence depicts streaks of red blood on a soldier's face and torso. The words “a*s” and “b*tch” are heard in the dialogue.
