River City: Tokyo Rumble is rated E10+ for Everyone 10+ by the ESRB with Mild Language and Mild Violence. This is an action game in which players assume the role of a high-school student and “fighter for justice” named Kunio. From a side-scrolling perspective, players walk the streets of Tokyo suburbs and battle enemy thugs and villains. Characters mostly punch, kick, and throw each other in attempts to knock out opponents; some areas allow players to pick up objects (e.g., trashcans, wooden beams, bats) to throw or use as weapons. The word “hell” appears in the dialogue.
