Rating Summary
This is a first-person shooter in which players assume the role of a resistance fighter (Ethan Brady) battling North Korean forces in the year 2029. As players explore an open-world environment, they engage in combat missions and use machine guns, pistols, grenades and bombs to battle occupying forces. Battles are fast and frenetic with realistic gunfire, cries of pain, and blood-splatter effects. Cutscenes depict more intense instances of violence: characters shot in the head at close range; characters beaten with bats and hammers—these cutscenes are highlighted by screams, loud impact sounds, and large sprays of blood. The game includes some suggestive/sexual material: a female prostitute occasionally appears on the street and makes comments to players' character (e.g.,“You wanna go some place?” ”I don't go with wierdos” and “Nothing rough, ok?”). Characters occasionally reference “dope,” “weed,” and “downers” in the dialogue, and some areas depict characters offering to sell drugs. The words “f**k,” “sh*t,” and “a*shole,” and “c*cksucker” appear in the dialogue.
