Anima: Gate of memories

This is a role-playing game in which players assume the roles of a woman and a demon trying to save the world from destruction. From a third-person perspective, players explore levels of a tower and fight various monsters and human boss characters. Players use swords, lance-like weapons, and magic attacks to kill enemies in melee-style combat; enemies generally disappear when defeated. Cutscenes also depict instances of violence (e.g., a still image of a character impaled on a blade). Blood is occasionally depicted in the game: droplets splashing on a book; wisps emitting from a hydra creature to indicate damage. During the course of the game, the demon character engages in suggestive dialogue (e.g., “Hey baby, you wanna know what the best part of this adventure is so far? Banging against your a*s for hours”; “The view from back here is great! No 'buts' about it!”). The words “sh*t” and “a*shole” appear in dialogue.
