Rating Summary
This is a seek-and-find game in which players collect clues and explore scenes while investigating the kidnapping and murder of a woman and two children. Players use found items to unlock in-game puzzles, communicate with suspects and ghosts, and follow leads to underground crypts, attics, and prison chambers. Although acts of violence are never depicted in the game, ghostly images and references to murder in journal entries create a foreboding, dark tone. Players can sometimes uncover objects such as coffins, wine bottles, cigars, headless mannequins, and a captive teddy bear.
