Grand Ages: Medieval

This is a strategy game in which players assume the role of a settler attempting to achieve greatness in Medieval Europe. Players explore European landscapes, gather resources, establish trade, and interact with other societies. While defending trade routes, players can be attacked by bears or groups of barbarians, resulting in small figures stabbing and slashing each other. Combat is accompanied by yells, impact sounds, and blood-splatter effects; bloodstains and corpses remain on the ground for a period of time. Cutscenes also depict instances of blood: splashes on the screen; a wounded man with blood pooling around him.
