Rating Summary
This is a third-person shooter in which players assume the role of survivors in a zombie apocalypse. Players explore an open-world environment as they scavenge for resources, find other survivors, and battle hordes of zombies. Players use axes, shovels, and an assortment of realistic firearms to kill enemy creatures. Enemies often get decapitated and/or dismembered during combat. Human characters also get mutilated by zombies; mutilated bodies with exposed viscera are depicted in some areas. During the course of the game, players can make and find medical supplies, including methadone, morphine, amphetamines, and stimulants; a character briefly references drugs in the dialogue (e.g., “But my mom, she's got this medical marijuana prescription.”). The words “f**k” and “sh*t” can be heard in dialogue.
