Natural Doctrine

This is a strategy role-playing game in which players control a group of fighters as they attempt to save their world from monsters. Combat is turn-based, with players moving characters around the battle area and selecting actions from a menu screen; attacks are then shown in a series of short animations. Characters use swords, magic staffs, and guns to human and fantastical enemies (e.g., goblins, orcs, dragons, giant insects).Characters cry out in pain when struck, and each hit is accompanied by large blood-splatter effects. Enemies sometimes dissolve into large pools of blood when killed; insect enemies are sometimes depicted eating corpses as blood splashes around them.
