Command & Conquer

This is a real-time strategy game in which players assume the role of a general for one of three warring factions. From a top-down perspective, players erect bases/structures, gather resources, build a military force, and deploy units (e.g., soldiers, tanks, helicopters) across the battlefield to eliminate enemy forces. The frenetic combat is accompanied by realistic gunfire and large explosions; soldiers cry out in pain and emit small splashes of blood when killed. One general is depicted with a lit cigarette in his mouth throughout the game. The word “bastard” can be heard on occasion.
