Killzone Mercenary

This is a first-person shooter in which players assume the role of Arran Danner, a mercenary who engages in military-style missions for two warring factions. Players use machine guns, shotguns, sniper rifles, and melee attacks to kill human soldiers in frenetic combat. Battles are highlighted by realistic gunfire, explosions, and screams of pain; enemies emit large splashes of blood when shot. Some weapons (e.g., shotguns) can decapitate enemy soldiers. The game also depicts intense close-up attacks: slicing of enemies' throats, stabbing through the head/pelvis. Players also have the ability to kill non-adversary characters (e.g., civilians) in the environment. In one mission sequence, corpses can be seen hanging from rafters; the figures' buttocks are exposed and sometimes visible. The word “sh*t” can be heard in the dialogue.
