This is a simulated gambling game in which players follow characters investigating paranormal mysteries. As players advance the narrative, they wager virtual credits in themed slot machines and will either win or lose credits depending upon where the slot reels land. In addition to some dark thematic elements, the game contains references to violence (e.g., “Horace's bumbling attempt at murder ended up as a double murder, suicide” and “but rather than face the prospect of burning to death, she wagered that gravity would be more forgiving. She was wrong.”).
