Rating Summary
Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Fantasy Violence, Mild Language, Mild Suggestive Themes, Tobacco Reference, and Use of Alcohol. This is a role-playing game in which players control a group of adventurers that explore labyrinths to complete quests. As players traverse dungeons, they engage in turn-based combat against a variety of human enemies and fantasy creatures (e.g., large insects, slime creatures). Players select moves/attacks from a menu-screen of options; attacks are accompanied by light effects, mild explosions, and realistic gunfire. During the course of the game, some female characters wear revealing outfits that expose some cleavage and portions of buttocks. A dominatrix-themed character has attacks that are suggestively named (e.g., Cuffs, Gag, Ecstasy, and Climax). The game includes references to tobacco (e.g., a mission requiring players to obtain an item called “Pipe Tobacco”), as well as use and references to alcohol (e.g., a character holding a mug of beer; a woman whose cheeks appear red after drinking; a patron called "One-Armed drunkard"). The words “a*s,” “damn,” and “hell” can be heard in dialogue.
