Secrets of the Dark: Temple of Night and Secrets of the Dark: Eclipse Mountain

This is a hidden-object adventure game in which players investigate disappearances and other mysteries in South America. Players solve puzzles and search for specific items among screens of jumbled objects. Several sequences contain dialogue or discussions about human sacrifice, though no such acts are depicted. Some darker imagery includes human characters getting whisked away by demons, possessed by ghost-like creatures, or turned to stone. Players are sometimes prompted to attack creatures by using magic; demons howl in pain or disappear into clouds of smoke when defeated. Some scenes also prompt players to find mugs of beer or to place tobacco inside a pipe; a handful of scenes depict cigars.
