The Curse of Nordic Cove

This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of golfers attempting to combat a mysterious curse. From a first-person perspective, players use shotguns, chainsaws, golf clubs, and a “golf ball gun” to destroy supernatural creatures (e.g, wraiths, werewolves); the frenetic action is accompanied by battle cries and otherworldly shrieks. Dripping blood effects appear on screen whenever players' character is killed, and some sequences depict the bloodied/dismembered corpses of other golfers. During some sequences, players are tasked with collecting human body parts on the golf course amid comical exclamations (e.g., disembodied hands with raised middle fingers; a severed penis); during one level, players can select a golf ball–washing device as their character chuckles to himself (e.g., “Hehe, balls.”). Other levels allow players to collect/consume cans of beer as a means of replenishing health. The words “f**k” and “sh*t” can be heard in the dialogue.
