Rating Summary
Mountain Crime: Requital is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Blood, Mild Language, and Mild Violence. This is a hidden-object adventure game in which players assume the role of a doctor investigating mysterious deaths at a secluded hotel. Players solve puzzles, collect clues, and search through scenes of jumbled objects to advance the storyline. During the course of the game, players are tasked with examining dead or dying characters (e.g., “Judging from the self-inflicted wounds on her neck, she suffocated.”). Blood stains sometimes appear on or near these corpses (e.g., a man lying in a pool of blood after a deadly fall). Cutscenes depict other brief acts of violence: a man jumping off a cliff; a woman being threatened at gunpoint. The words “damn” and “hell” appear in the dialogue.
