Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth

This is a fighting game in which players engage in hand-to-hand combat against characters from the Marvel Comics universe. Players mimic on-screen gestures (e.g., arm swipes, leg sweeps) to punch, kick, and perform special attacks (e.g., energy blasts, fireballs, electrical strikes) that deplete opponents' life meters. Battles are highlighted by impact sounds, cries of pain, colorful explosions, and slow-motion effects as fighters are hurled across the screen. A handful of animated and comic book–style cutscenes include other violent acts: a character getting shot with a laser blaster; alien ships attacking a city. Some female characters are depicted in skintight outfits that expose moderate amounts of cleavage; some characters also perform victory taunts that cause their breasts to jiggle.
