Rating Summary
DJMAX TECHNIKA TUNE is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Blood, Fantasy Violence, Mild Lyrics, Partial Nudity, and Sexual Themes. This is a rhythm-based game in which players earn points by matching on-screen prompts in time to scrolling indicators and background music. During the course of the game, a handful of stylized music videos depict various acts of violence: a character shooting a giant robot with a machine gun; monsters/mythical creatures getting slashed at with swords; a demon getting hit over the head with a guitar. A handful of comic book-style sequences depict brief red blood effects (e.g., blood on a wounded character's face, splatter marks on the screen). Several videos portray women in bikinis or low-cut outfits that reveal large amounts of cleavage/buttocks (e.g., two recurring angel-like characters partially nude). One strip club scene displays a suggestive neon sign (“Big Daddy's Nude Girls”), and a female pole dancer next to a man holding cash. The word “a*s” can be heard in the lyrics.
