Guardians of Middle-Earth

This is an action-strategy game based on the Lord of the Rings franchise. Players assume the role of iconic Guardians (e.g., Gandalf, Legolas, Sauron) as they lead fantasy creatures against opponents in arena-based battles. From a 3/4–overhead perspective, players use blades, hammers, arrows, and magic attacks to defeat enemy troops in melee-style combat. Skirmishes are accompanied by battle cries, sword-slashing sounds, and colorful explosions. During one cinematic cutscene, Guardians are depicted impaling nearby enemies with swords and arrows.
