Rating Summary
Maestro: Music of Death is rated E10+ for Everyone 10+ by the ESRB with Alcohol Reference, Mild Blood, and Mild Violence. This is a hidden-object adventure game in which players must save a young girl from a mysterious fate. Players examine clues, collect inventory items, and solve puzzles to advance the storyline. In addition to the game's dark thematic elements (e.g., newspaper clippings that reference traumatic events; slumped over corpses in a theatre), some scenes depict supernatural acts of violence: a whirlwind of ghosts that drain the life out of nearby soldiers. A handful of environments also include bloody handprints or objects stained with spots of blood. Wine bottles are occasionally depicted on screen, along with some alcohol-related descriptions (e.g., “This appears to be a jug used to strain particulates out of new wine.”).
