Ratchet & Clank

Ratchet & Clank is rated E10+ for Everyone 10+ by the ESRB with Comic Mischief, Fantasy Violence, and Mild Suggestive Themes. This is an action platformer in which a bobcat-like creature (Ratchet) and his robotic sidekick (Clank) combat evil forces across the universe. As players traverse through colorful alien worlds, they use an assortment of “cartoony” weapons (e.g., oversized laser blasters and rocket launchers) to defeat robots, giant monsters, and bug-like creatures; enemies generally disappear amid colorful bursts of light and/or scattered nuts and bolts. In some sequences, players use a crosshair target to shoot down enemy spaceships. As the game progresses, one female character is briefly depicted with exaggerated-size breasts that jiggle. Tongue-in-cheek remarks appear throughout the game; one comical sequence includes an infomercial for the Personal Hygienator (e.g., “Do you have a problem with unwanted hair? Is painful itching in your nether regions causing you undue embarrassment?”).
