Rating Summary
This is a puzzle-adventure game, set in the 18th century, in which players attempt to exonerate a man accused of piracy. Players solve puzzles, collect inventory items, and search through jumbled objects to advance the storyline. During one mini-game, players use a cursor to shoot bandits that appear on screen; realistic gunshots can be heard when enemies are hit, and players lose points for shooting “innocent citizens.” One such bandit is depicted with a lit cigar in his mouth. In another mini-game, players match bottles of alcohol (e.g., whiskey, port, beer) with their countries of origin. The word “damn” can be heard in the dialogue.
