Rating Summary
This is a golf-themed card game in which players navigate through golf courses by sequentially matching cards. As players progress from one hole to the next, their actions sometimes trigger animations of slapstick violence: “cartoony” characters getting electrocuted, run over by golf carts, or bonked on the head. A variety of comical remarks can be heard in announcers' commentary (e.g., “Tommy, now that's gotta hurt!”/“Just like prom night,” “I heard that this game is called golf because all of the other four-letter words were taken.”). Some of the dialogue also includes language that is interrupted or censored by audible bleeps (e.g., “Aye, it's hotter than the inside of a devil's a—,” “Like a fraternity [bleep]!” and “Watch where you're hitting the ball you falarney [bleep]!”). During one sequence, a golf ball splashes into a martini glass; the accompanying text reads, “You lost your license to drive—too many shots at the 19th hole.”
