Anno 2070

This is a strategy game in which players expand a single settlement into a prominent metropolis during the year 2070. As players increase territories and manage resources, they can engage in military conflicts against opposing factions. Combat is presented from an overhead perspective as players use weaponized vehicles (e.g., warships, tanks, bomber planes) to attack enemy structures; battles are accompanied by realistic gunfire and large explosions. In one introductory cutscene, the camera pans up from street-level pedestrians to an incoming missile strike; civilian casualties are heavily implied. To keep the populace happy, players can build distilleries or vineyards for schnapps and champagne; some references to alcohol also appear in the dialogue (e.g., “Man, how I'd love to hit the pub for a beer again,” “I'll drink to that!”).
