This is a sports simulation game in which players can compete in realistic events (e.g., pole vaulting, diving, sprinting, gymnastics) to earn points and medals. In the mountain-biking game, wipeouts are sometimes accompanied by camera-shaking effects and announcers' commentary (e.g., “Ouch! That looked painful.”). One cutscene depicts a disgruntled athlete shoving a reporter.
