Oregon Trail

This is an adventure simulation game in which players must safely guide their family's wagon to Oregon City. Players can collect supplies, maneuver a wagon through obstacles, and make strategic decisions to ensure their survival. In some sequences, players can use a targeting crosshair to hunt animals (e.g., bison, rabbits) running across the screen: shots are accompanied by realistic gunfire; animals disappear amid stars when hit. During the course of the game, players may experience unfortunate events (e.g., “Coyotes attack!” and “You have died of dysentery.") or choose to survive by robbing other characters (e.g., “You get away with 5 dollars!”).
