This is a “point-and-click” adventure game in which players assume the role of Nancy Drew and her friends as they attempt to catch a mysterious arsonist in the fictional town of River Heights. Players search for clues, interview suspects, and complete a variety of puzzles throughout the investigation. Some sequences depict instances of mild peril, such as a character attempting to escape from a smoke-filled room; a thumping sound can be heard as she faints and falls to the ground.
